How It Works

DNA can be extracted from cells quite easily; LAByrinth uses buccal cells from the inside of the mouth for DNA extraction.

Once you place your order, we will send you a Collection Kit, containing two buccal wands (thin sticks with brushes at the end) which, as shown above, you swipe across the inside of the cheek (for a person) or tongue (for a dog or cat). For pets besides dogs or cats and other animals and plants, please contact us.

You then simply send the Collection Kit back to us, and from the samples provided, synthesized, crystallized DNA will be created and inserted into your pendant.
